Qualifying Buildings
- Detached and semi-detached homes
- Triplexes and duplexes
- Row houses
- Low-rise residential buildings (footprint of less than 6,500 square feet, maximum of 20 units and 3 stories; please call us for details)
- Mobile homes with a permanent foundation
Eligible Building Owners
- Private homeowners
- Landlords
- Housing cooperatives
- Condominium corporations
- Municipal social housing agencies
- Aboriginal housing boards
Additional Criteria
National Resources Canada has outlined some additional criteria
that must be met for an energy evaluation that incorporates the federal and provincial incentives.
Age of Building
All ages of buildings can be evaluated by our Certified Energy Advisors who. Please note that the program does not apply to new construction. A house is considered new construction up to six months after the builder has transferred the house to the homeowner.
